Hummos




Hummos, Its a middle Eastern food dip or spread, sometimes its considered as a salad too. Its made from cooked and mashed chickpeas, blended with tahini, olive oil, fresh lemon juice, salt and garlic.

Foul Mudamas


Foul Mudamas, another traditional dish its made of cooked and mashed fava beans blended with parsely,onion, garlic and lemon juice served with olive oil at top. Usually eaten for breakfast or a quick dinner, or even as a side dish. typically it would be eaten with pita bread.

Falafel


 Falafel, probably the most well known traditional food. Its a deep fried patty, made from chickpeas. Falafel is usually served in pitta dread and Tahinni topping ( which you can read about later on this page) and some traditional salads too!

Baba-Ganoush

 Baba-Ganoush, is another popular side dish, or salad. Its usually eaten with pita bread. This dish is made of eggplant ( aubergine) mashed and mixed with extra virgin olive iol and several other seasoning.


Baba Ganoush has several ways of making it ! The one on the top, is the traditional dish. The other two ways that are possible is to blend it with tomatoes, or with mayonaise.

Labbaneh


Labbaneh, one of the healthies yougurts you might ever find. As most Yougurts, Labbaneh is made of milk, although Labbaneh doesnt have any extra fats.Its usually eaten for breakfast with pita bread and cucumbers.



The Labbaneh above is the traditional Labbaneh. Labbaneh could also be served as Labbaneh balls, with thyme or blended with black olives.

   Fried Greek Cheese Sticks


Fried Greek chese sticks, are perfect delicious snacks or quick dinner! Most people eat it with bread or Greek salad. Its baisically a Greek cheese ( Halloumi) deep fried and served.

  Layali lubnan:

One of the most popular deserts in the middle east. By it's name, it is originally from Lebanon, but it is eaten all over the middle east. Made from milk, smeed, and middle eastern flavoring. After it is left in the freezer for a night a sweeting syrup is added to it along with some pistachio chips.
